About / Bio
Trevor Lui is one of the pioneers in knowledge management and process innovation in Hong Kong.

From 2000–2003, Trevor and Ron Young of Knowledge Associates (KA), UK conducted numerous KM presentations and consulting projects to Hong Kong government departments and large corporations. These organizations included the Environment Bureau, Transport and Housing Bureau, the Audit Commission, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, the CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, MTR Corporation Limited, Hongkong International Terminals Limited, and HK-PCCW.

In addition, Trevor was one of the founders of Knowledge Management Development Centre (KMDC), a non-profit charitable organization with the objective to promote the awareness and advance the practice of Knowledge Management in Hong Kong.

While Trevor was with Hong Kong Productivity Council, he was certified under the KA’s Knowledge Asset Management consulting methodology (KAM). He specializes in aligning knowledge management activities to daily business operations processes for organizations. He advised and assisted in both the public and the private sectors, such as the Housing Department, the Hong Kong Police Force, the Environmental Protection Department, the Census and Statistics Department, Correction Services Department, Civil Service Training and Development Institute, Adidas Group Regional Asia Pacific, Walmart China,

Trevor is an advisor to a BA and Master degree program at Faculty of Education at HKU since 2004. From 2002 to 2008, Trevor also developed and led a 2 days KM business simulation camp for Hong Kong Polytechnic University students who desire to have workplace experience. He is currently developing knowledge management strategies and systems, and advising and assisting major multi-national corporations, local government departments, and start-ups enterprises.

His latest research areas are focusing KM measurements,
knowledge transfers, and KM skills for future generations.
