Peter Tampin

Peter’s experience covers some 30 years in the high technology business sector in leadership positions up to Board level. The leadership roles held include Sales & Marketing and Operations within multinational organisations in manufacturing, Telecoms Operators and Consultancy. As a member of the company board he was required to develop the strategic plans for the business, and as a line Director to develop and deliver the tactical plans to achieve them.

The knowledge he has accumulated has allowed him to work closely with senior personnel within all areas of the business and Client Company and achieve rapid results.

Having benefited from continuous development of personal knowledge his focus is now on Knowledge Asset Management. How it can benefit business in this Knowledge Driven economy, and how he can assist organizations by using his extensive background in demanding high tech businesses.

Current Role: Knowledge Associates Cambridge

• Knowledge Manager – Developing, together with the CKO, the Knowledge Strategy that supports and underpins the Company Strategy. Applying the Knowledge Asset Management methodology to identify, manage and develop the knowledge assets of the company to deliver its business objectives and strategy.
• Senior Business Consultant
- Recent assignments:
- Facilitated Russian Railways and Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, ‘Collaboration and Co-creation’ project to enhance the development of business courses through the use of Knowledge Management techniques and processes.
• Research project for Russian Corporate University to identify latest and best currently available tools, methods and frameworks for Knowledge Management.
• Managed a University Credit Recognition Agreement for Knowledge Asset Management Methodology (KAM) for Knowledge Associates
• Currently researching Psychological Contracts in Knowledge Management
