Nicholas T. LECK, MBA Innovation Strategy and Information Systems

Nicholas LECK is a British citizen who has been living in France for over 40 years and is comfortable operating in a dual culture. Since 1995 he has been developing and consulting on Knowledge Management systems and solutions at an international level, specialising in organisational performance and change. He has consulted for: French Ministry of Defence, SAAB Defence, Alcatel, Sodexho, Vaillant group, BioMerieux.

A convinced European, he has been vice-chairman of the “CEN/CENELEC guide to the Knowledge Management best practices in Europe”, has been a key player in the European Commission 4 Million euro ‘Rural-wings project’ for the reduction of digital divide and distant education via satellite and has recently been a leading light in the Rural-Inclusion project where he created the first Caribbean ENoLL accredited Living Lab (CIMLAB). This involved creating and guiding several international communities of practice.

He has held several senior positions in international companies including heading the Knowledge Management practice of Steria - a leading European integrator, managing the Digital INSEAD joint research office, directing the international project office of SITA, running professional services worldwide for Entopia (a US start-up) and has been secretary of the French association of Living Labs.

He is currently consulting and providing training on Innovation for strategic knowledge driven organisations including the creation and management of Living Labs to the private and public sector in France and Europe.

He is the author of the white papers and methodologies: Knowledge Management state of the art (French MOD 2000), PDKM (Project Deployment Kit Methodology, SITA 1996), KMIS (Knowledge Management & Information Systems methodology Steria 2002), and is near to publishing a book on KM Innovation and Living Labs - providing a competitive advantage for organisations.
